Every Tuesday, I schedule time in 4 or 5 different for-sale listings so that I can see those homes in person and get a better sense of what they have to offer for the price.  Here's my review of homes I visited this week:

4945 Logan Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN
$519,000 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car detached garage, 2148 square feet.
If you're looking for a home that needs some elbow grease but has the potential to be a real winner, this might be worth a look.  Great flow on the main floor with room to expand your living space into the back yard.  Nice upstairs with 3 beds and a bath.  Lots of potential in the basement to turn it into great living space.  It's finished now but could use your vision.  Located in the high demand Lynnhurst neighborhood, this one would be worth $650 easy, if it were in tip top condition.

818 Summit Avenue, Minneapolis, MN
$475000  2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car attached garage, 1940 square foot townhome
Tucked away in Lowry Hill, just a block off of Hennepin Avenue are 6 row homes built in 1990.  Nicely updated, fresh interior with lots of light in every room.  I love these townhomes because each one I've been in has been nicely updated, the floor plan works and the location is super cool, being wedged in between 1900's era apartment buildings and condos.  The association fee of $400/mo covers everything that it should and is a great value given that those fees can run from $700 to multiple thousands just a few blocks away!  If you want city living, you should take a look!

3204 Fremont Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN
$599,900  4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, detached 2 car garage, 2079 square feet
An amazing timepeice, built in 1910, showing all of the vintage touches built into a home of this era.  The oak woodwork, hardwood floors and stained glass windows just shine and the floorplan is still relevant for today's buyer.  Feels like a bargain at this price, especially since it's just six short blocks from the Lakes!

1550 Kenwood Parkway, Minneapolis, MN
$1,475,000  4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, attached 2 car garage, 4006 square foot twinhome
Wow!  Elegance.  Opulence.  Attention to detail.  Every room draws you in.  This is just an incredible home that gives you the feel of living in a larger suburban home while having the convenience of city life at your doorstep.  Did I mention an elevator?  I can't believe this is still on the market, so take a look while you can.

735 Kenwood Parkway, Minneapolis, MN
$1,035,000  4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 car detached carriage house garage, 3729 square feet
This home lives like a movie set.  The "mushroom" style roof sets the whimsical tone for this unique and wonderful home.  New roof, updated kitchen and baths.  This home does need just a nudge for cosmetic improvements, but it's a wonder to behold and if you're charmed by this style home, then you'll be captivated when you see it.
