After a three or four week lull in the market, things seem to be picking back up as open houses are better attended and housing stock has increased a bit. Great homes are still selling the fastest, but all homes look to be on the market for a bit longer now. If you're a buyer and have been on the sidelines because you didn't want to suffer through competitive offers, now may be a good time to re-engage!
Here's my open house this week:
Sunday, July 21, 2024, 1pm - 3pm
3240 Irving Ave S, Minneapolis, MN

Here's a nicely updated home that's just one block from Bde Maka Ska (formerly known as Lake Calhoun). If you're interested in the lake life, but don't want the taxes or cost of a lake home, drop by and check this one out. You'll have all of the conveniences of a nicely updated home, the benefits of being just a morning stroll from the lake, at half the price and tax burden of a lake home. Drop by and take a look - or send to a friend who's looking for a home like this one!
My current listings:
I also have two condo listings on the market. If you or someone you know is looking to live in downtown Minneapolis, I have both a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom condominium in the same Centre Village building downtown. Both units have some nice updates and both owners are ready to deal! Call me to set up an appointment to see one or both...

Finally
I'm often asked, "Is this a good time to buy (or sell)". My answer is always, "Now is always the best time". Most of the time, our life situations dictate to us when we need to move: birth, death, relocation, marriage, divorce, downsizing, transition to assisted living. If you're ready for a move, find a home that you like, do the math to make sure it suits your pocket book and get moving! I can help you determine your home's value if you're planning to sell and help direct you to your next adventure if you're ready to buy. Give me a call!
Thanks!
Mitch
