Just a quick note about how different the quality and presentation of older homes are as opposed to high end new builds.  They're both great but both very different - especially if you're looking for charm and character.

I was at a broker open at a home in the Kenwood neighborhood of Minneapolis this morning and what I saw in the kitchen and the transition to the back yard, really caught my eye.  These views, this inferred feeling of connectedness to your surroundings and your neighborhood are characteristics that really draw me to older, established neighborhoods and homes.

The photo of the kitchen just oozes with old home charm and, of course, it's been updated, but consistent with the original form and function of the home.  Through the sliding door you find a back yard with a welcoming ambiance that would take decades to establish.

Just wanted to share that today.  The home was listed for $1.5 million.  If you'd like more info on this or any other listing, just let me know!
