Market Update? Yep!
If you're wondering when Spring market starts, here's a quick yardstick for you:
January 1: Buyers are back and deals start happening. The energy shifts and I/you can just feel the market starting to come back to life after the holiday slumber.
February 9: This is Super Bowl weekend. I don't think there's any special link between the game and the market activity, but it's around this time that peak buyer activity happens in the market.
Mid-May: Spring market starts to wind down. Homes still sell, but the energy downshifts a bit.
If you're a buyer, think about getting into the market between now and Feb 9. New listings are coming to the market but buyer activity is just starting to grow. You might find a great deal and not have to compete with 5 other buyers in a bidding war.
If you're a seller, now is the right time to be talking to me because getting your home on the market often takes some time. Cleaning, de-cluttering, consistent lighting, maybe some paint, staging. It all takes some prep time. Get started now and then you'll have your home on the market during "peak-Spring"!

Open Houses
To start the year off, just a reminder about the kinds of homes I show during open houses and, for sellers, the kind of presentation I'll help you prepare when you're ready to go on the market.
I focus on quality.
Each week, I focus primarily on hosting open houses at homes that owners and listing agents have taken great care to present well - particularly in a way that the price being asked is reflected in the home being presented.
